Our Story
It all started with a simple swipe of the finger. We went on our first date after a month of talking. What we thought was going to be one drink, turned into far more than that, a nighttime stroll on the beach, and getting serenaded by an "up-and-coming" musician. Needless to say, we hit it off right away and didn't want the night to end.
In our first few months of dating we were in the midst of the pandemic and spent every moment we could together in our own little Covid bubble. We watched The Bachelorette, which inspired our first trip together to La Quinta, we played tennis, went hiking, listened to lots of country music, and spent a month in Colorado.
Eventually, we moved into our first place together, then our second, and got Winston!
On Andie's 27th birthday weekend, Ryan planned a surprise birthday getaway for Andie. He told her what to pack for each day and with some help from her friends, she was ready to go. We arrived at a beautiful hotel in Carlsbad. On day 2, we drove to Temecula where we pulled into a ranch with a horse carriage waiting for us. We spent the day wine tasting, drawing a lot of attention to us and our Clydesdales. At the end of the tastings, we ended up at a gazebo with rose petals all around, where Ryan finally popped the question!
The following weekend, Andie was dressed for what she thought was a birthday hibachi dinner, and showed up to her house for a surprise engagement party with our friends and family! Let's just say, while Ryan made Andie wait, the wait was worth it!
Now that Andie's got the ring, she is ready to take over the timeline and get this wedding planning started and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone we love most!
